Water Cooled – No Burn
Knives are sharpened on a flat surface, and a constant stream of water ensures there is no dust and no burn, thus prolonging the life of the blade.
The guide has a predetermined angle of 7.5 degrees to give a quick keen edge. If desired, knives can be laid flat on the stone or at any intermediate angle to produce the angle of your choice. Having sharpened the knife on one side, reverse the motor and finish the knife on the other side.

Sharpenset Whetstone offers a selection of long lasting stones to achieve the best possible results.
150 grit – Medium (orange) – General purpose.
280 grit – Fine (grey) – Honing and polishing.
50 grit – Coarse (white) – Roughing/rapid grinding.
50 grit – Coarse Silicon Carbide (green) – For tungsten tipped tools and masonry drills.
400 grit – Extra fine – Polishing.
Diamond stones are available to order.
